Skin Deep Tattoo Studio was opened in early 2001. It is different from most shops as you can see from the pictures.

We have a vast range of tattooist each with their own style, eg. if everyone that worked here did the same tattoo they would all turn out a little bit different according to the artists style.

We have artists from Germany, New Zealand, Australia and once or twice a year we get International artists drop in for a few weeks at a time.

Newtown is a very cosmopolitan area so naturally we get all walks of life in the shop. Everybody is welcome and everybody receives the same respect and attention that they deserve.

Skin Deep is a very friendly shop with a professional attitude towards every customer that comes through the door.

We also have the largest range of body piercing jewellery in Sydney.

We also have two slide shows on computer each with over 15,000 designs on each computer so if you want to find a design from a particular artist overseas there is a good chance we would have it.

As you will see from the artist galleries we do anything from butterflies to tribal to gothic. You can bring in your own design or send us an email and any of our staff would be more than willing to help you.
